Our shelties are all registered with the AKC (American Kennel Club). We have registered with the Shetland Sheepdog Club of Southeast Florida and the national organization American Shetland Sheepdog Association (ASSA).

Shelties and Sunflowers is also a small hobby kennel, breeder, and rescue with the primary focus to occasionally breed, but mainly train these beautiful Shelties as animal-assistant dogs that will serve our community as therapy and emotional support animals.

My first two lovable shelties, Lord Bentley and Shiloh Lee, became a member of our family in 2017. I have always been in love with the Shetland Sheepdog breed. As with all conscientious breeders, my breeding adults have been tested for hip dysplasia, von Willabrand's disease, thyroid function, and eye diseases.
